The Kent State Tuscarawas Women's Basketball team plays a very competitive schedule against area Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC) member schools and four-year colleges and universities.
Students taking seven credits at any of the Kent State Campuses are eligible to compete. The season runs from early November through February.

Head Coach Daniel Johnson
Head Coach Daniel Johnson brings a lengthy coaching background to Kent State Tuscarawas with experience in basketball, volleyball, cross country and track. He has held head coaching positions at the high school level in Florida and college level in Tennessee. Coach Johnson guided his high school basketball teams to three regional state playoff appearances, six district state playoffs and the final sixteen in the state playoffs. Three of his players have achieved recognition as all-state team athletes, 10 as all-county team athletes, 11 as all-district athletes and 10 all-star athletes.
Coach Johnson received an Associate Degree in Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management, and a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine, Ca. He also served in the Florida Army National Guard and the United States Navy.
Assistant Coach Amanda Marino
Coach Amanda Marino has strong local ties to the community and college playing experience. Coach Marino graduated from Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School. She then graduated from Kent State Tuscarawas with an Associate in Arts and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Coach Marino played basketball at Kent State Tuscarawas as a captain for four years. After graduation, Coach Marino became a licensed Realtor working at Pissocra Mathias Realty.
